ALAS GROUP Chairman official visit to Zimbabwe

ALAS GROUP Chairman, Dustin Paul Wilden was in Zimbabwe between 26th to 29th of December 2022. His visit came at a time when he descended from a number of successive business tours in different parts of the Globe.
Mr. Wilden's visit to Zimbabwe also came at a time when ALAS GROUP has just established its operations in Southern Africa, with Botswana being its epicentre.
Mr. Wilden was accompanied by ALAS GROUP CEO for Southern Africa Shelton Nkomo in a visit that has unlocked a number of business opportunities between Zimbabwean Government and the GROUP Company.
While in Zimbabwe, Mr. Wilden had the opportunity to meet Government Officials in a meeting organised by Zimbabwe Investments Development Agency (ZIDA) on the 28th of December 2022.
The meeting served as an eye opener between the Government of Zimbabwe and the GROUP Company paving way for a possibility of the two (2) parties forging bilateral and multilateral ties in the context of FDIs.
Speaking after the Official engagement Mr. Wilden expressed his excitement in showing interests to work with Zimbabwean Government in many areas of Investments.
"On behalf of the GROUP I am happy to visit Zimbabwe where I had the opportunity to have an official meeting with Zimbabwean Government Officials through meetings organised by Zimbabwe Investments
Development Authority (ZIDA). The engagements were fruitful as we discussed many areas of investments."
The Group Chairman's visit to Zimbabwe gripped the attention of the local media where he was invited for a Television interview programme with 3K tv, particularly the Diplomatic Couch where he delved deeper into his work and career as a top executive and business diplomat.
During his short stop in the country Mr. Wilden was invited to tour the newly opened departure lounge, the Pearl Lounge located at Robert Mugabe Airport, where he was given a royal welcome.
